What we Offer
We are NZ first Nationwide Triathlon Wetsuit Hire service and are proud to help New Zealanders get wet! We are here to help swimmers and triathletes who do not have a local wetsuit hire service.
We will send anywhere within NZ. (Please read the information very carefully on how this will work below).
Once you have given us your details we will Call or E-mail you and confirm if we have a suit in your size available for the dates you require. When we have confirmed your size is available we will then ask for full payment to secure your swimming wetsuit by phone or e-mail.
Please book early to ensure you have a wetsuit available. We do have over 70 suits for hire but these are always totally booked out when we get to major ocean swimming events.
We have wetsuits for Women and Men from 40kg to 110kg and children from ages 8 to 12.
How will I look after the Wetsuit once it arrives?
Triathlon/Swimming Wetsuits are used for Ocean swim events and for social use in Salt and Fresh water. They are not to be used in chlorine environments as this will damage the suit. We do not allow any use of petroleum based products such as Baby oil or Vaseline as this also damages the wetsuit and will limit the wetsuits life span. We ask that you be careful with your fingernails and sharp objects as these can cut or damage the suits. If you find a cut when it arrives, just drop us a line so we know and you are not charged for the repair from your bond. We will also give you some care instructions with the suit when we send it to you.
Can I buy a Wetsuit after I hire it?
Any customer that hires a suit may get their hire fee off the price of any full retail priced wetsuit that we offer. This offer is strictly only available for 7 days (1 week) after the scheduled return of your hired wetsuit.
e.g If you hire a wetsuit for 1 week then you get a $100 Discount (the hire fee) off the purchase of a full retail price of any wetsuit within 7 days of the return of the wetsuit. If the wetsuit costs $350 you will pay $250 and including the bond (if this has not been refunded yet) you would only have $150 left to pay. Hire before you buy, that is a great way to go!
We will also offer you a 10% discount on any of our other products that we sell including tri gear, goggles and accessories if you choose to purchase a wetsuit from us at the same time.
All you need to do, is call, e-mail or fax us with your credit card details and the product(s) you wish to purchase. Please have the description, colour and size of the product(s) you want ready when you call us. All our products are available to view online at www.swimandtriathlon.co.nz

All Costings include postage both ways
Wetsuit Bond: $100 - this will be reimbursed once the wetsuit is returned in the same condition it left the store. Any damage to the wetsuit will be taken out of the bond and the remaining amount may still be reimbursed depending on the amount of damage. Please ensure the wetsuit also arrives back in a dry condition. Your bond will be reimbursed back onto your credit card.
Weekend Hire: $100 - (7 days hire) As we are a national wetsuit hire service we have taken into account that we will need to send your wetsuit with enough time for you to test it out and be ready for your very important event. We also pay for the delivery of the wetsuit to you and will include a courier sticker for you to send the wetsuit back to us.
COST e.g. $100 Bond + $100 hire fee.
e.g. - If your event is on a Saturday we will send your wetsuit on the Tuesday/Wednesday for you to receive this by Thursday so you may have your wetsuit with enough time for you not to worry about it arriving in time for your event - we ask for this to be sent the Monday following your event so we may have this back in our store by Tuesday ready to be sent to the next customer.
2 Week Hire: $180 - (17 day hire) Sent 2-3 days prior to the date you requested your hire to start - we ask for this to be returned the date your hire ends. We also pay for the delivery of the wetsuit to you and will include a courier sticker for you to send the wetsuit back to us.
COST e.g. $100 Bond + $180 hire fee
Month Hire: $325 - (33 day hire) Sent 2-3 days prior to the date you requested your hire to start - we ask for this to be returned the date your hire ends. We also pay for the delivery of the wetsuit to you and will include a courier sticker for you to send the wetsuit back to us.
COST e.g. $100 Bond + $325 hire fee.
Weekend hire - 7 days including time for delivery
2 Week Hire - 17 days including time for delivery
1 Month Hire - 33 days including time for delivery
