Q: How Do I Care For My Swimsuit?

A: How to care for your swimsuit:
Rinse well in clean water after every use.
Warm hand wash with mild soap.
Do not bleach or use harsh detergents.
Drip dry out of direct sunlight.
Do not dry clean.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not pack or store wet.
Do not leave rolled up in a wet towel.
Avoid rough surfaces such as concrete, swimming pool edges, etc.
Avoid contact of sun cream and oils on swimsuit.

Q: How do I take care of my Chamois Towel?

A: After use, simply rinse in fresh water and wring dry and store it damp in its reusable storage container.

Q: What's The Difference Between Lycra and Polyester?

A: Lycra (Spandex) is softer and has greater stretch capability allowing for more flexibility. Its fabric has a rubberised elastic material. This is especially important for Synchro Swimmers. However due to the rubberised elastic material Lycra tends to breakdown earlier than Polyester because the chlorine attacks the rubberised elastic material in the fabric. Polyester materials like Durafast Polyester or Endurance Polyester are soft and comfortable for swimwear but the material has less stretch than Lycra, because it uses less rubberised elastic material in the fabric allowing it to last longer than the average Lycra suit.

Q: What About Import Duties and Customs Charges?

A: Import duties and Customs charges are the responsibility of the customer, each country has different rules as to how much you can ship at one time and what fees are charged on shipments. We are also not responsible for any Import duties and Customs charges on returned items. These are costs that are beyond our control and are not factored into any of our pricing or shipping charges.

Q: How do I care for my wetsuit?

  • After use, rinse in cold fresh water.
  • Dry inside out, away from direct sunlight.
  • During transport, roll the suit evenly. Do not fold, keep out of heat.
  • These wetsuits are designed for quick removal. For easier removal, apply Tri Slide or Body Glide to wrists and ankles. Do not expose the suit to petroleum based products as these will harm the neoprene.
  • Avoid contact with sharp or abrasive objects.
  • Remove all jewellery and take care putting on and removing the wetsuit if you have long fingernails. Wear gloves to help put on the wetsuit.

A: If you would like to exchange size or colour please return the purchased product in original condition together with a note of your full contact details and requirements. You can return the product to the address provided on the invoice or packing slip provided. If you would like to contact us regarding exchanges you may email sales@swimandtriathlon.com, Please note you will be charged for the shipping expense so please choose your size correctly.

Q: If the product is not what I expected what is your returns policy?

A: If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase simply return your product, in original condition, within 30 days quoting your Packing Note Number. We will replace without questioning or, if you prefer, refund your purchase price in full. The guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
