Leveraging on the features of 2XU’s highly acclaimed V:1 Wetsuit, the 2XU X:1 Wetsuit takes technological engineering to even greater heights. Poised to send waves through elite open water swimming and triathlon communities across the world, the X:1 Wetsuit boasts a revolutionary X-Flex Front Panel to radically assist body roll and improve power from the hips to dramatically increase distance per stroke. The garment also features Titanium Alpha Coating to promote blood flow in the legs for those crucial swim to bike transitions.

X – FLEX FRONT PANEL
With 40 Cell neoprene X Flex Panel across the front. 2XU’s X1 is engineered to arm the swimmer with unparalleled propulsion by facilitating a more effective body roll and flex through the water.
Designed to support both the beginner and advanced swimmer. X Flex with the natural movement of the body in water directing hips to perform more effectively in the swim. Internal air cells – increases flexibility through the chest panels.
ROLLBAR
The industry’s first Rollbar region improves buoyancy in the core for better position when the body rolls off the front panel. This ultimately facilitates higher body and hip position in the water for greater speed and power.
TRANSITION FRONT BUOYANCY PANEL
Optimizing the maximum 5mm thickness allowed under the international federation rules and boasting 39 cell rubber – the most buoyant and dense on the market (spec gravity = 13). Maximum buoyancy means less body in the water and faster overall speed through the water as a result.
The 2XU X1 Wetsuit utilises nano SCS to provide an extra 4% buoyancy over standard SCS. The SCS nanoskin underwater coefficient of dynamic friction is 0.026 compared to 4.0 offered by regular neoprene. Less friction = more speed.
TITANIUM ALPHA COATING
Boasting a metallic alloy coating in the inner lining. The wetsuit will maintain the warmth required to promote blood flow in the lower leg panels. In turn, blood pooling in the upper body is prevented to offer a faster swim to bike transition and more competitive legs for the start of the ride.
VELOCITY STRAKES
Industry first Velocity Strakes channel water for greater stability and less sideways movement in choppy conditions. In still conditions, a water channeling process is offered for greater lift and cleaner water flow for speed through the water.
